Who We Are

Janet Wiggins, Director of Aigburth Physiotherapy, has been practising in Merseyside for more than twenty years and has built a solid reputation in her field, working with both private and corporate clients.

Aigburth Physiotherapy is made up of a close team of experienced and highly qualified physiotherapists. All staff are members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and Health Professionals’ Council (HPC).

Janet is a member of MACP, an organisation recognising an elite level of manual therapy skill within the musculoskeletal field. Janet’s areas of specialist interest are lower back and pelvic pain, vertigo and associated neck pain, sports injuries and acupuncture.

Our seven physiotherapists pride themselves on working to the highest possible standards and are specialists in musculoskeletal medicine. All Aigburth Physiotherapy staff have their own specific areas of expertise, which include lower back pain, womens’ health and acupuncture, shoulder/upper quadrant, neck pain/headaches – vertigo, lower limb and post-operative rehabilitation.

Our attitude to training and development reflects the ethos of our Director, who is recognised as an expert in her field.
